Scorebooker LLC (“Scorebooker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides physical baseball and softball scorebooks paired with an AI-powered mobile app for scanning and digitizing scorebook sheets. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app, website, or purchase our products.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and phone number you provide when creating an account.
• Scorebook registration data: The unique code from your physical scorebook, linked to your account.
• Game and scoring data: Statistics, game results, and other data entered manually or extracted by our AI from scanned scorebook sheets.
• Scorebook images: Photographs of filled score sheets you submit for AI processing. These images are processed to extract game statistics and are not retained beyond the processing period.
• Device and usage information: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and general usage patterns.
• Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or payment credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Providing and maintaining the Scorebooker app and your account
• Processing scorebook sheet images through our AI to extract game statistics
• Fulfilling physical scorebook orders and sending shipping notifications
• Communicating with you about your account, orders, and product updates
• Improving the accuracy of our AI scanning technology
• Ensuring compliance with our Terms of Service
• Responding to support requests

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Scorebooker:

• Firebase (Google): Used for user authentication and Firestore database storage. Your account data and game statistics are stored in Firestore. Google’s privacy policy applies to Firebase services.
• Stripe: Used for processing payments for scorebook purchases. Stripe is PCI-compliant. We never see or store your card numbers. We share only the minimum information necessary to complete transactions.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records related to completed transactions).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.
• Opt-out of sale: We do not sell personal information.
• Data portability: Request a machine-readable export of your data.

7. Children’s Privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through an in-app notice. Continued use of Scorebooker after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
